The Shanghai Cowboy is a twenty-somthing lawyer, freelance writer and darts enthusiast living in Devon, England and originating from the island of Jersey, situated off the south coast of England. He thanks you for taking the time to have a look at his words and pictures and wishes you well on your journey. If you love/like/are indifferent/dislike/utterly detest what you have read and/or seen, please leave me a message, all views welcome.
The Shanghai Cowboy’s influences include, in no particular of merit: J G Ballard, Phil Taylor, David Lynch, Will Oldham, Charlie Brooker, J M Coetzee, Chris Akabusi, Brett “The Hitman” Heart, Roald Dahl, Steve Buscemi, Dylan Moran, Metallica and Bubbles the monkey.
The Shanghai Cowboy also enjoys making short videos (see below) and has a more substantive feature – Pride and Pedigree – to be filmed early next year. If you were after a precis, Flight of the Conchords meets Bottom would probably do neither justice, but make us sound relatively interesting.
